Presenters: Vic Merjanian, Esq. CEO & Founder – Titan HST and Chanel E. Fischetti, MD, Chief Medical Officer – Centaur Labs
Learn how your current mass communication system can help you minimize the spread of infection, monitor population density to ensure social distancing, and confirm proper sanitization of your campus. This session includes an interactive Q&A with an ER physician working the front lines to keep us safe in Los Angeles and Orange County hospitals.
Dr. Fischetti is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. She graduated from UC Irvine Medical School, completed her residency at Duke University Hospital, and then a fellowship in Ultrasound at UC Irvine Medical Center under Dr. Chris Fox. She now spends part of her time working clinically and the other time researching and working for a Boston-based artificial intelligence company, Centaur Labs.
In the fall, she will start a part-time teaching role at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She is passionate about advancing technology, particularly artificial intelligence, within medicine and medical imaging. In her spare time, she enjoys running, swimming, and mentoring other young women and physicians/scientists to pursue careers in science, medicine and/or technology.
She will be speaking about her experiences working in Connecticut at several hospital locations within the Yale New Haven Hospital System. She will also discuss recommended safety precautions to continue to take and ways in which we can continue to find a harmony between technology and medicine moving forward.
